Bio

Mike Mackenzie began his radio career back in 1988 at the age of 12. His first love was always production. Mike spent hours sitting in the production room at WAEB fm in Allentown, PA listening to tapes and CD's of such voiceover greats as Mitch Craig, John Pleisse, Ernie Anderson and others. Practicing hours and hours per week, Mike quickly mastered the art of "voiceover" production.

In 1994 at age 19, Mike was hired as the Production Director at #1 rated WNNK fm in Harrisburg, PA. Quickly taking on the nick name "Doogie" given to him by the sales staff, Mike began producing some of the top production in the market, winning the PAB award for "Best Promotional Spot" in 1998. In 1996 Mike added Imaging Director duties to his list and continued in that position until 2001 when he was moved to Cumulus Media's new sister station WWKL/HOT 92 as Assistant Program Director. Mike eventually moved to mornings on HOT 92, and in June of 2004 "retired" from the air chair, moved to Southern California for a couple years…hated it there and moved one last time to Las Vegas where Mike works full time from his home studio.

Always faithful, and always in the studio when Mike was recording, say hello to "Daisy". She was Mike's office manager, and was the first "ear" to give approval on all production.
